If you want a little more action...
- Take a guided river cruise and experience the beauty of the Daly
- Go for a walk through the monsoon lowland vine forest and see native flaura and fauna
- Go bird watching. The Daly is renowned for its bird life
- Take a shaded walk through the mango plantation
- Stroll to the billabong and take some great photos.
If you are a little more energetic...
- Just 30 minutes away in your car is Nauiyu Community where you can visit Merrepen Arts, the home of Daly River Aboriginal Art. Paintings, tea towels, postcards and other products made at Merrepen are for sale at reasonable prices.
- Daly River has many historic sites. Most are well sign posted, so go find them and discover the colorful history of the Daly.
- Visit Litchfield National Park, Surprise Creek Falls etc..
